Really! Why should I have to pay to listen to music that I already own? Well, thanks to the wonderful Supreme Court of Canada when you go out and buy your next MP3 player you won't have to give the greedy CPCC a damn penny.

Scotty's been beamed up!

a magnificent, vainglorious bastard
I love my horoscope this week from eye:
CANCER(June 21-July 22) As a rule, Cancers are more predisposed to self-loathing than self-loving, a behaviour born of a lifelong pubescent moodiness. This week, though, slay your natural predilection to sulk and treat yourself to some much-needed ego-tripping. You're the goddamned bee's knees, Cancer; a magnificent, vainglorious bastard who can turn the world on with a smile. Start acting like it. You've always been your harshest critic, but for once try being your own biggest fan. Love yourself madly (don't worry, it won't make you go blind).
My bad
Holy shit! I just realized I hadn't posted anything new in six days despite such events as the London bombings, Karl Rove's fat ass hopefully going to jail and Mother Nature's fine example of what Global Warming feels like. Oh ya! That's right, I haven't posted anything because I can't be in my house long than two minutes before i start to turn into a puddle which makes it hard to think let alone blog.
Good thing it didn't happen on July 11.
Much like Sept. 11 was reduced to forever being called 9/11, the London bombings are now being referred to as the 7/7 bombings.
In related news Bill O'Reilly continues to be an asshole of epic proportions.

Not by the hair on my chinny chin chin
Just down the street from my house sits a large woman every day asking for change. I never really paid much attention to her until this week when she asked me for some change and I realized she is a real live bearded lady. I kid you not...full-on growth. These are the kinds of characters that make up my Annex neighbourhood. I love living here!

All Things Maple, Mountie and Beaver-like
Happy 138th Birthday to Canada!!!
I spent the day at the AGO taking in the absolutely brilliant 'The Shapes of Colour - Excursions in Colour Field 1950-2005' which I will write more about shortly. I also trekked it out to Brampton to see my mom & little sis who just returned from their little adventure to my place of birth Terceira, Acores. I think my mom finally 'gets me' now because she brought me back a fine bottle of wine. God bless her.
