Da Vinci Cash
So despite reviews ranging from bad to horrible Ron Howard's $125 Million The Da Vinci Code is now as big as Jesus after taking in $224,000,000.00 worldwide. That places it at #50 of the all-time box office list after just 3 days and may eventually top Titanic's $600,788,188.

The DaVinci Bomb
Looks like all those catholic groups around the world might not have to worry about boycotting The DaVinci Code movie based on early reviews (metacritic rottentomatoes) from Cannes. But that won't stop it from having a HUGE opening weekend.
Film studios must be getting worried. This could be the third big blockbuster movie after the sinking of Poseidon and the less than spectacular opening of Mission: Impossible III to not live up to the blockbuster title.

"I like to do things in Babe's name. I just don't want his name mixed up in steroids."
